Is profhilo for me?
This is a great treatment for those patients who would like to improve the quality of their skin, or those who are unsure about fillers and anti-wrinkle injections. It smooths out fine lines and gives a “profhilo glow” to your complexion.

What is profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable Hyaluronic Acid (HA) based product for treating skin laxity with one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market. It works as an “injectable moisturiser” to soften fine lines around the mouth, tightens jawlines and minimises jowls. This popular treatment works by stimulating the skins own repair system to improve the condition, plumpness and hydration of your skin. Profhilo is most commonly performed on the face but since it’s inception, it may be used to treat various areas of the body. These areas include the standard face and neck rejuvenation but now include the décolleté, arms, knees, tummy and hands.

Technical information
The procedure involves a series of superficial injections just under the skin and takes approximately 15 minutes to perform. There is minimal downtime and optimal results are seen around 8 weeks from the initial injection...but often sooner. It is one of our most popular treatments and can be performed on its own or in addition to dermal fillers or anti-wrinkle injections.

Maintenance treatments are every 4-6 months

What to expect

You can expect increased firmness, elasticity and an overall improved quality of the skin which can be seen for up to six months post-treatment depending on the degree of correction required, age and lifestyle.

For best results, a second treatment is recommended one month after the first injections. Maintenance treatments can be scheduled every 4-6 months according to your body’s response to treatment.

Profhilo Hyaluronic Acid can also be injected in the face and the neck, arms, abdomen & knees.

The treatment can take up to 45 minutes.

Viscoderm Hydrobooster

Is profhilo for me?
This fantastic versatile treatment is perfect for superficial wrinkles and deep hydration which results in smoothing and toning results, without the unnatural appearance of filler in dynamic mobile areas.

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is a cross linked filler and is injected into the skin across dynamic areas of the face which offers intense hydration. The increase in skin hydration levels improves the skin’s elasticity which reduces the appearance of wrinkles.

Viscoderm Hydrobooster is usually used in areas where the usual fillers are overkill and anti- wrinkle injections cannot be used. These are typically for areas of the face which are dynamic such as areas around the mouth, eyes and forehead lines.

You can expect to start developing noticeable results after two weeks which will continue to improve up to 8 weeks from the initial treatment.

We recommend a review at eight weeks after your initial treatment but unlike Profhilo you do not require a second procedure unless recommended by Dr Wass.

We recommend treating every 6 months.
